Homeward Bound
Join thousands of Hoosiers in raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to provide housing and fight homelessness in Indiana!
About Homeward Bound
Homeward Bound is a series of annual events that take place in communities throughout Indiana to raise funding for and awareness about affordable housing and homeless needs. Since its inception in 2003, Homeward Bound has raised more than $3 million for over 100 affordable housing and homeless service providers across the state, making it Indiana’s largest grassroots fundraiser with the ultimate goal of ending homelessness.
Homeward Bound is a project of the Indiana Association for Community Economic Development (IACED), a 501 (c) (3) membership-based association that was founded in 1986 to serve community-based organizations working on behalf of low-income and disadvantaged populations. All Homeward Bound benefiting agencies are nonprofit members of IACED.
Each Homeward Bound event is organized and governed by a local steering committee made up of dedicated community leaders. All funds raised stay in the communities in which they are raised.
